[Edited Message Follows] Leo...Admittedly in the BN era, but we loaded Bentonite out of two plants just west of Upton, Wyo. One was called Colloid, and the other Bentley, both names associated with the type of clay. These were the last of several Bentonite plants in North-eastern Wyoming, the first at what was imaginatively called Clay Spur. I had kind of a connection to Clay Spur, account they once had a 42" gauge railroad whose last motive power was a Whitcomb gas mechanical. The locomotive is preserved at the Anna Miller Museum in Newcastle. My maternal grandfather worked as a slotter operator at 'The Whitcomb'. The newest covered hoppers we had were 'Airflows'. Not having been a Conductor and involved with the waybills, I don't remember the designation. Mike _._,_._,_
