The on Station Operator covers all
stations with operators on the layout: Broomfield,
Louisville, Boulder, and Niwot. The SO sits in the
crew lounge and is also the crew caller.
The Dispatcher has a desk in another room
and there is an open phone line between the DS and the SO. The phone line
is for OSing trains and dictating train orders.
If there is not enough crew for an op
session, these two jobs are combined. The combined DS/SO sits in the crew
lounge.

I also do T&TO operations so these are especially of
interest to me.
Do you use one station operator for the whole railroad and one
dispatcher, or are they one and the same? Whatever it is it seems to work
really well.
