Thought I would share these images of FW&D boxcar 8522.  The photo was taken by Ken Ardinger on October 14, 1962 at the Florida East Coast yard in Hialeah (Miami), FL.  What I found noteworthy when zooming in was the COT&S and repack stencil from the Long Island Rail Road, done at Long Island City NY on April 24, 1962.

While FW&D boxcars might have made occasional visits to the FEC, I suspect that very few of them ever had their journals repacked on the LIRR.
