When "The Colorado Road" came out, I, an NP Fan, bought a copy and thought it was an excellent book. Every time I mentioned the book to a Burlington fan, they stuck their collective noses up at the book. I believe the one exception was the late Joe Legner, probably because he was also a fan of Colorado railroads.
