I started some experiments to find a commercial grey similar to what was used on the Walthers GP-7s.  The best match so far is Pollyscale 414158 Milwaukee Road Gray.  It is still a touch lighter and may not have the slight bluish tint, but is very acceptable for touch up painting.  This is of moderate help as this paint has been discontinued.  Other brands have the same named color which may or may not work.
