Thanks Ricky. I was afraid it was one of my photos and I was speaking in error about never having seen one in Denver in the Q era. But that's a post-merger photo (by only a month) by my good friend Jim Sandrin, and though the unit number is not visible, I'm
quite sure Jim got the number of the unit correct, and the absence of dynamic brakes confirms that it is indeed from the 400-411 series.

Hol,
It's on the back cover, second unit.

For the life of me I cannot find the photo of 407 in the blackbird scheme at Denver anywhere in BB48. However, from 1958, when I started photographing and regularly visiting the Q roundhouse and yard in Denver, until the time of the BN merger in 1970 I never
saw one of the 400-411 SD7s in Denver -- or anywhere else but in eastern Nebraska.

Bulletin 48 shows CBQ 407 post merger in Denver still in the blackbird paint scheme. Is there record of any other of this series in Denver? I model Colorado and would like to do one of this series in Chinese Red. The only Colorado picture I have seen
is of 407, which apparently was never repainted in red and possibly the only of this series that remained so until the merger?
