Scott and Nancy:
Another comment. Your narrative does not say if he will include variations in the kit to model all of the bi-levels. A long time ago I made an inspection of all these cars at Aurora to record the differences in the cars, and determined that at least 10 different
cars would need to be made to accurately model all of them.

Scott & Nancy,
For your eyes only!!
I have it on good authority that your friend should not put a lot of effort into the bodies if he thinks he is going to sell a lot of these in the not too distant future. The interior is another matter, as there are a lot of brass cars without them. I can
provide scans of the original Budd drawings for the interiors, as I have for someone else, if he is willing to help me recoup the investment I made in the scans.

Subject: [CBQ] Fw: Looking for Bi-Level Interior Details
We are working with a member of our local Operations group who is a whiz at 3D printing. He is working on a project for us and himself to create a 3D printed kit of the CB&Q bi-level gallery cars. Along with printing
the entire car, he plans to do the interiors as well. He is about as detailed of a guy as you're going to meet. The external portions of the coach are complete - now for the interior.
We're looking for photos and/or details of the interiors. This would include the numbers, configuration and types of seats on both levels along with the width and number of steps going upstairs. Any other details
would be wonderful.
I've looked on the BRHS Flickr site, in BB1 and Olmstead's "of Zephyrs and Commuters" and haven't found much useful information. There are numerous external shots, but nobody seems to want to show the interiors.
One of our Ops friends from Naperville is going to actually ride a dinky this weekend to try and get as much information and pictures as possible. What would be really helpful would be any diagrams or blueprints that may have existed. Does anyone in the
group happen to know if anything like this and/or detailed photos exist?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
