I don't have the issue in front of me but one of the order makes a reference to "Terminal Jct." in an order annulling a Train #51 between Galesburg and Barstow. Not having a timetable in front of me was Terminal Jct. the name of the switch to the north of the station where what BNSF calls the Barstow Sub veers to the north off of the mainlines?
The article is unfortunately, for us, written using the area around Tehachapi Loop, California as an example of issuing train orders and the CB&Q photo, while nice, is simply there to show train orders.
