I questioned that but I chose to put doors on both sides.
And after I finished the model a person on line mentioned that there
was an REFER subject in Bulletin #12.
So when I looked at that issue I see this reference (see attachment).
It states that there were two doors and two doors.
So now we know, and that makes my model correct. I also made the under charge with
a lower center beam as shown in the original photo, but not seen in model photo.

Did you put a cream section on just one side of the car or on both. The only photos I’ve seen of this car are all of the same side so there was speculation if the other side was the same.

Modified a plastic HO scale model. And it has a silver roof thanks to you.
The original photo is B&W of this CB&Q Refer 326.

In climbing up and down on 7,000+ associated cars BRE/WFE/FGE and National Car Co. I never saw anything but silver roofs
