The bottom two are the twin sealed beam headlight. The top of the two above is the Mars light in white and was used mainly at night. Just below is the red Mars light that was activated in an emergency brake application and could also be activated when a train was disabled on the main. If this was one of the recent DCC Ready AthearnGAthearn releases, all four front lights are already wired and a decoder with enough functions will get them going. Only the lower headlight on the rear is wired. I have three total from that release, 2 DCC/Sound (all lights work) and 1 DCC ready, so I didn't worry about getting the rear Mars light to work on the DCC ready unit.

Hope this helps and any corrections on the use of the Mars light would be welcomed.
