Thanks, Charlie,

I appreciate your knowledge and willingness to share.  I assumed that the CB&Q used mineral red as I have seen generic water tanks in photos in that color.  I am kind of surprised though about black as I can't recall seeing that.  I have been told that some were a dark green similar to the dark European green used on the trim of Burlington depots.  I don't recall seeing any drawings of actual Burlington water tanks.  Any suggestions?  Stay safe.
