I don't  know what you have in mind with your question Charlie  I'm just quoting the title of the book Currie wrote.I don't know anything about any other Burlington Northern other than the one created in 1968 or 70 or whatever it was

I thought Teddy Roosevelt prevented the NP and GN from merging with the CB&Q!!

My interest starts to wane as Chinese Red started covering everything and the Green stuff none at all.

I am having fun unearthing pre-1900 Q history even though I saw events after GP20s and SD24s came on the scene and most of my monthly tickets were issued by the WSMTD or later agencies....

Not cheap but they will keep you fascinatingly busy for many hours

All-

On the occasion of the completion of bookshelves that now hold all my

railroad books (but sadly are not sufficient for my magazine collection), I

am reminded that there were, in the last year or so, several books pending

that are of interest to Burlington Route readers.

Has there been any progress on any of them?  Now that I am in the Land of

No Hobby Shops I am out of touch with what is going on in the railroad book

world.

I do have space for a few more CB&Q volumes!!
