On the subject of Earl Currie as an author  I picked up "It Gets in Your Blood"  That he published in 1998

It has not come to the top of the To be read  Pile yet

So that makes three books the author has put to gether

The one hard cover book is 444 pages and only $45.00, and its companion is 304 pages and $40.00. they appear to be very good books and I am certain there are references to the former Q in the new company by Mr Currie.

It is always a pleasure to read a book by a professional railroader, especially one with so much insight into operations and corporate thinking.

Not cheap but they will keep you fascinatingly busy for many hours

All-

On the occasion of the completion of bookshelves that now hold all my

railroad books (but sadly are not sufficient for my magazine collection), I

am reminded that there were, in the last year or so, several books pending

that are of interest to Burlington Route readers.

Has there been any progress on any of them?  Now that I am in the Land of

No Hobby Shops I am out of touch with what is going on in the railroad book

world.

I do have space for a few more CB&Q volumes!!
