Have you checked Google satellite views for images of your former Downers Grove 
house? It might show whether the patio, or for that matter, the house is still 
there. Like a lot of Chicago suburbs, DG has been going through a period of old 
traditional homes being purchased and then torn down to be replaced by “modern” 
oversize monstrosities that don’t even fit the lot or the neighborhood! What a 
sad and terrible job of revising  older zoning laws to accommodate new 
structures all in the name of money.
