I would agree that the paving bricks for sale are probably Humboldts, as Humboldt's name was not normally stamped in their pavers. Purington had their named in raised letters on most of theirs, though I've seen some with the named stamped into them.
And there's always the possibility that more local brick was used, the Sheridan Pressed Brick Company turning out both pavers and building brick, the latter all having the Sheridan named stamped into them. I have examples of all three in a rather heavy box
in may garage.
On a somewhat related note, though not railroad related, one of the hardest things for me about moving from the
1908 home where we lived in northwest Denver from 1974 to 1995 was leaving behind the backyard lawn edging I had put in place. It was made from old Denver street pavers I had recovered when a turn-of-the-century street near the Burlington's 23rd Street
roundhouse here was torn up of utility work. Though these were often inaccurately called cobblestones, they were
actually bricks, each one 10 inches long, 6 inches
wide and
7 inches deep. They weighed 7-8 pounds apiece! I hated to leave them behind.

Steve - For the Lines Westerners on this List, I'm attaching an image of the Humboldt Bricks Yard, Humboldt, NE, taken sometime in 1911. This is where the bricks presently
for sale on EBay probably were made. There appears to be 12 kilns in operation, so the brick yard certainly had a large out put. Best Regards - Louis
