Norman-

I agree.   I don’t understand why the side strip has to be exaggerated and the triangle added above the headlight, and the proportions of the F40 plate are not pleasing….but overall, much better than the vast majority of the “Heritage” units that have been done in recent years.

I like it!!!  Sure, it’s not perfect, but it sure beats the heck out of the CRIP and MILW MP36s!!!  Can you imagine one done up like a BN E9!  With the green and white stripes!
