It is a nice color photo considering when it was taken. My dad was the 
photographer. He started taken B&W photos in 1936 after he purchased a Kodak 
Bantam Special. In 1938, he started using the new Kodak Kodachrome transparency 
slide file. The train in the photo is notable. I have been told that it was a 
Kiwanis Special en route to Minneapolis. At that time, the train was the 
longest non articulated lightweight streamlined train to be operated. I believe 
the train was 17 or so cars long. It must have used most of the Q’s non 
articulated cars!
