Thanks Hol. I'm guessing (hoping actually) that the Q may have assembled groups of loaded grain boxcars and covered hoppers at Savanna, IL which would have then been sent down to Galesburg either on Train 156 (Savanna to Galesburg via Denrock and Barstow per the 1968 Operating Data Sheet) or as an extra, and then on from Galesburg to Denver. Can anyone confirm this possibility during grain season? Pictures are also always welcome!!
