Rick,
No. He sent me a few pictures (too late) for the 2019 calendar.
Recently he has been buying old 8mm film off eBay of the Kansas
City railroad scene in the 1960s and early 1970s and is having
them transferred to digital media. He did an hour presentation in
November at the local railroad roundtable and the person doing it
restored it extremely well. Mostly Santa Fe, but showed many long
gone railroads and facilities throughout the KC area and even a
little in the St. Louis area. At the very last, was about a minute
of Leavenworth footage of MP trains (featuring their 44 tonner
stationed there) circa 1960.
He is a retired railroader and is a good friend of someone I
know. He is also helping a fellow local Santa Fe modeler with
information for a new layout based in Leavenworth in the 1950s.

Outstanding, thanks.
Is Jim's collection accessible online?
Ricky
Rick,
Also found
this picture of SW1 9152 in Leavenworth in 1961 (again from
the Jim Will collection which he agreed to allow the BRHS to
use). Jim is quite the railroad historian in regards to
Leavenworth.

Does anyone know what switcher would be assigned for
Leavenworth circa 1957? Photos show a twin stack end cab
and in one case, it looks fairly new. I am thinking an
SW7, 9 or 12 (1955 built series).
Thanks
