[CBQ] XM-33 Box cars in Express Service Question

I’m building four Proto 2000 50 ft. box cars into series 8500-8549 express box cars, and the information I have states that they were painted Pullman green with white lettering. The question is, were the underframes Pullman green or black. From photos, it appears that the roofs, sides, and ends were Pullman green, but I can’t tell from black and white photos if the underframe and brake gear was green or black. A color photo or some firsthand knowledge would be invaluable.
