No, they did not. The only 4960 trips in that time period were Chicago to Ottawa on July 31, 1960 and Chicago to Galesburg on December 18, 1960. All of the other trips in the second half of 1960 were operated with 5632 except one Denver to Ft. Collins trip on October 2, 1960 with C&S 2-8-0 638. There was a Chicago to Earlville trip with 5632 on August 27, 1960, but it did not operate on the branch.I find no reference to a trip to Rock Falls although they did at least one trip to Sterling, some of which was done on C&NW trackage. Attached are a couple of photos of 4960 at Sandwich, but on the main Line. These were taken in Sept, 1963 while 4960 was turning the Sandwich County Fair train.
