Thanks very much Don Brown..I intend to post all or maybe part of this tome on  railroad facebook place where someone is proposing that an engineer could do  better job "on the ground"

This may be too broad a subject for this forum, but I'm begging forgiveness for this request.

I'm sure that I have the issue of the old RR magazine where I saw this poem, but I just can't think about going though my collection..I have several hundred..maybe a thousand issues which MIGHT  contain that poem.

Anybody on here recall and perhaps give me  hint as to where it was.  I may have put it in one of my diatribes in years past, but I thought i would start here.
