Leo..You will recall that I issued a disclaimer as to my weight guessing ability...I guess anything heavier than a newspaper would seem heavy when you are boosting it up above your head with one hand and hanging onto a grab iron with the other and maybe standing on one foot. Probably get written up today for failing to maintain "3 point contact" which seems to be the "violation of the day"
How about making a drop hanging on to a grab iron with one hand, the pin lifter with the other..one foot in the stirrup and giving a "foot sign" with the other...I remember well an old head brakeman showing me about a "foot sign" and how to do it.
OH OH for the good old days.
