Sam Clearance Diagram Plan No. 43437G dated 5/6/20 does not show for a tool shed but if depends on which state you are in Missouri shows 16 feet Drawing 86666 6/30/45 Grading and dressing for CTC Instrument and Shelter House shows 14 ft from near rail I think the society reprinted Drawing 97789 Signal Maintainers 4 stall motor car house. I have it in my Standard Plan Notebook but can not find on the BRHS Index(I have trouble with computer index and prefer to thumb thru the pages) A lot of standard structures were pre-fabbed at Havelock using recycled materials 97789 is for a four stall 10 X 29'6" but could have just as well been built cut in half with one stall and a tool shed. If I remember right there use to be one behind the tower at Aurora used to store both maintainer and inspector cars. I tried to scan it and send 97789 IF it does not work will take to Dave's Next weekend and I know he can send it Steve in SC On Saturday, March 25, 2017 1:17 PM, "Sam Cook trains@sjcook.com [CBQ]" <CBQ@yahoogroups.com> wrote: What is the standard distance from rail to front of a handcar shed?
We know ours is not correct and we are considering re-doing it. (Plus, it is falling down.) http://sullivanhistory.org/depot/platform/toolshed/index.htm Anyone have a good company drawing of a standard shed? Thanks.
