Those locations are possibilities ie Burwell and Sargent ...If there was a turntable at Sargent i'm not sure where it was..The engine house is still there and it reposed in the center of a WYE which lay in a generally
east-west direction. During my tenure as a brakeman on the Hastings-Sargent local in summer 1956 we never put the GP 9 or 7 in the house AND I don't think it was turned since these engines had dual controls. Maybe there never was a TT at Sargent??? I know
someone could look it up, but I'm not interested in doing that. .
The turntable at Burwell is still there IN PLACE, but the engine house is "no more"...
Pete

Could this possibly be Burwell or Sargent Nebraska?
Archie - I've got good views of the branch line roundhouses at both Wymore, MO, and Red Oak, IA, and this image was not taken at either location, as far as I can tell. Don't recall seeing
before such a flimsy pipe railing on the armstrong turntable. Both Wymore and Red Oak has more substantial wood and pipe railings. Thanks for sharing. Best Regards - Louis
