I'm a listener only on this group but in looking up Marsland in Google Earth I notice there is an "ore train" coming into Marsland from the north. Appears to be about 1.5Km long and the wagons appear to be empty. Just out of curiosity can anyone tell me anything about it.

Thanks for this. I think the “stop” between Marsland and Crawford is Horseshoe Curve, which is on Crawford Hill after the Belmont Tunnel. I believe that there was a picnic spot there in the early days and trains would stop on request.
