Pete,
  Don't feel bad.  I was sitting in my high school classes wishing I was out on the passing siding behind our house in York which was crammed full of dead steam engines from one switch to the other. Over a mile of everything imaginable. Did I get a bell, number plate, builders plates ?? Nooo and I had permission to do so. Dumbass Junior High student had more on his mind than dead steam engines...by the time I graduated in 59 they were all gone to Chicago.

While sorting slides, I came across these in my collection. With the recent posts about the Lincoln deadline, I thought I'd post them.
