This is a question that I'm sure Leo and anyone else of his vintage and experience can answer....I'm embarresed that I can't remember, but I was asked the question and I need. help. The passenger trainmen wore stars and bars on their uniform sleeves which signified their years of service.
I think that the Stars represented 5 or was it 10 years and the bars a single years and was their another emblem which came into play for long term service like 25 years.
Leo or someone else please help....
