Hello Phil and all - While researching numerous timetables for the Carthage branch chapter in the Quincy Branch book, I found a reference to a flag stop around the Rock Creek area called Bay View. I cannot recall what timetable it was in, perhaps a project when I return home in the Spring. Bud Linroth. In 1953 I took a photo of the local freight just north of the Quincy yard, passing a station sign (not a depot) that said BAY VIEW. It was done in the typical Q font, white lettering on a black board. A wooden paddle was on a pivot on the post nearest the track, perhaps to signal a flagstop. I have not been able to find BAY VIEW in the ETTs or Official Guides and apparently it has not been found on any track charts. Any thoughts?????
