BRHS members will recognize this shot from Burlington Bulletin #42 on the Exposition Flyer by Hol Wagner and John Schultz. Pages 136-137 provide a full spread along with a detailed description of the Quincy location  and the Exposition Flyer consist. Crediting the photo to Q company photographer Fred Lehmann taken May 24, 1944 the photo used in the Bulletin was snapped seconds before the Quincy book ad photo with the same consist just approaching the signal bridge. The caption explains that due to flooding the eastbound Exposition Flyer was being detoured 65 miles south of the normal river crossing at Burlington, Iowa. Taken from the tower of the brick depot at Quincy, these are two classic Q shots for certain.
