Noel,
I am severly color blind
When I entered the Army they had to ask me the color
of the tab that was in the test book to get me in, 26
years light Infantry. When I went to college (after
military time) I worked for Sherwin Williams. I was
the go to guy for matching paint, I would match it for
what I saw with my eyes. Some people would not ask
for anyone else but me, I've even been asked why I
quit the paint business, #1 my toxicity level has
risen very high (no OIl or laquer based paints.) I use
only acrylic. #2 a college education. I have found
the ruddy spray primer offered by Ace Hadrware to be
very close to Mineral Red Primer in a spray can. By
the way I get joked with a lot going from a Command
Seargeants Major, Commandant of the Sergeants Academy
to a mild mannered Librarian with 8 endoresments. But
alsas I have retired fully and have the small LLC
Ultimate Research.

PS I am red/green color blind by about 50% Red
oranges and gray greens. Did 23 years in the Army and
50 yrs as a pharmacist with no problems....go figure.

I may have found a close match for the Q Mineral
Red in a rattle can. Came across it at Tractor
Supply.
It is Magic Red Oxide Primer item # 8-22989
Tractor,Truck, and Implement spray enamel. Another
Magic red primer is a little redder. Item #
8-20141 Red Spray Enamel.
Since I do not have a Q mineral red paint chip I
am going by guess and by golly.
If any one checks these out, please let us know
your thoughts.
