Hello All,

I'm new to the group.  One of my primary railroad interests is the historic railroad bridges, which I document.  Being from Minnesota, I get around a bit.  Recently, I was in Sheridan and took note of the former CB&Q bridge (now Illinois Railway) over the Fox River at Sheridan.

I'm wondering if anyone has any information on these three questions.

When was the bridge built?

When was the second truss span removed and replaced?

Why was that truss replaced?
