Leo, thanks for the tips.  I will look closer at the ETTs.

Ricky,

If you have ETTs prior to about 1968 go to the back pages and or bottom of each page. Read the fine print as they should be notations like" Wayfreight extra leaves, etc, etc, etc." also there should be a listing of through frt. Either on the back cover or inside it.

For yard jobs you'll have to really dig elsewhere (union files, correspondence, etc) or maybe some one on this list has first hand knowledge.

It looks like a layout is in the future (along with a new house) and I am looking information on how to accurately model operations around the Omaha area.  I have some timetables from the mid sixties but they mainly refer to passenger operations and they refer to other rules.

What do I need to look for to find out about freight operations?

The current plan includes a segment of the Chicago - Denver mainline between Pacific Junction and Lincoln and the branch to Omaha from Ashland and Oreapolis.

 Thanks
