I have heard, but have not seen any documentation that the NYC had a roundhouse there. I would love to hear if this is true or not.

Yesterday I saw a postcard with a notation of Zearing,IL roundhouse. It did not say whether it was Q or NYC. Anybody know if the Q had a rdhse at Zearing ?

ETT 43 of April 1925 shows water but not coal at Zearing. The IV&N Wayfreight comes over from Streator and turns at Zearing. There is a local that leaves Zearing 3 days a week,goes to Kasbeer  and returns to Zearing. Can't seem to find out what it does the other 3 days and there's no notation of it coming from elsewhere. Also the stock p/u doesn't operate on Friday so it's not that job making a side trip.
