The attached Form 31 Train Order warning of Indians on the warpath was
shared with me by retired Q Galesburg locomotive engineer Bill Franckey. Can any
one tell us where on Lines West the Indians went on the warpath? Neither Bill or
I are familiar with the stations identified in the Train Order dated October 25,
1905. According to the Corbin book, Helper Engine 590 was a Class
L-1 0-10-0 type, originally B&MR 273 built by Rogers in 1891 and
retired in October 1916. Hope the engine crew escaped being scalped..... Best
