Did you order them direct from Portland Car and Foundry using the website?  Can you tell us the catalog number, and how much a set cost?

Portland Car & Foundry has recently had some HO scale CB&Q passenger car decals printed in what Champ used to refer to as Bronze Gold (simulated gold leaf). There are four different styles (lengths) of BURLINGTON and also lettering for the AK-SAR-BEN, ARISTOCRAT and BLACKHAWK. There are approximately sixty different car names, plus numbers. I just received some yesterday, but my initial impression is that they look pretty good. They have not been coated, so one may want to overspray them and/or use Microscale Liquid Decal Film on them.
