I notice that when the photo is shown as a 413x240 thumbnail there is a download button when you mouse over it as Dave points out. When you click on the photo, enlarging it, the download button is gone. It might have something to do with it being a relatively small image.

I also see that there is a Save link under the image in the Conversation view, which saves a few steps.

I followed the photo link in your email to the Yahoo Group photos.  No settings were changed.  I right clicked on the resulting image and opened it in a new tab.  At the bottom right hand corner, there is a download icon (an arrow pointing down to an open box).  I was able to download this image to my Desktop.  Please try this and let me know if it works for you.

Group-

How is it that some photos can be copied from the Group album and others cannot?  

This particular one cannot.   Others that Louis and others have posted can be.   Is there a setting that can be changed or do I have to use screen capture because some did not want embedded or attached images?
