And Paul Boulton was one of the engineers on that run. Another was ? Titterington. Knew the crews very well. Mr Boulton gave m a book on Railroad Stations for Christmas one year. That started the library that I have today.

Throughout that time E-units from the general pool were used on 42-43, which meant an occasional E5 showed up.  And in heavy mail times, generally around Christmas, pairs of SD9s would be used.

Does anyone have information on passenger trains between Alliance and Lincoln in the late 50's early '60's. I am interested in what power units were used, No.s and any pictures. I road the special train CB&Q had taking school students to the Ice Capades  in Lincoln. I also met the train nearly every morning to pick up newspapers for my route the summer of 1965.
