Seems like those old bridges were everywhere on the Q.  We called them "Dry Bridges" for some reason.  As I remember the main uprights were made out of rail.

The BNSF Bridge Department might still have a 'tengwall' bridge drawing (schematic) of these bridges.  I'm going back to the Midwest for the Spring Meet at Batavia, and hope to work in a trip to the BNSF office at Kansas City.  If so, I will look for them.

Irrespective of what the bridge was called, does anyone have a plan or drawings for it?  There were an almost identical one at Belmont, Nebraska, that I’d like to build.  Also, does anyone know roughly when or by whom the bridge would have been built?
