If you Google "national dump stock car " you'll get a hit for Railway Age, volume 40, that has drawings of a National dumping stock car.

It’s interesting that you should mention stock cars in relation to my query as the steel centre sills of the National dump cars built in 1914 were supposed to have been used to build the SM-18 stock cars. a 1917 ORER I downloaded and a 1920 orer that I hand copied. In both 3001 -
3200 are listed as stock cars.
The
only thing that could be a dump car are the ballast cars
