Randy - I do not have a drawing or blueprint of a K-1, but I do have a
digital image of B&MR 260 later renumbered to CB&Q 607 if that
is of any help. The image is identified as taken at Custer City,
SD, in 1891. Perhaps, you can tell something about the firebox from this
image. Best Regards - Louis

Other
than the sheet in the loco class book, does anyone know of any
drawings/blueprints for a Rogers K-1 locomotive? Interestingly, the
loco class sheet lists 64" drivers, while both the Corbin book and the
1893 Rogers catalog call them out as 62". But mostly I'm looking for
a drawing that might show more boiler/firebox dimensions than is shown on
the class sheet.
The last two K-1's in service, #608 and #625, were
assigned to the Ashland-Schuyler branch, and were both retired in
1939. I don't have any information as to what locos were assigned to
that run after that.
Thanks,
