Hol - It that's "Case" painted on the factory's brick wall, it might mean
something. Case was, and is, a huge manufacturer of agricultural/industrial
equipment. If Case had a manufacturing plant in Clinton during that era, it
might collaborate that city as being the location. Best Regards -

view, and there appears to be a turntable ahead of the 502. Through the
1940s and until it was sold from scrap in May 1954 the 502 was assigned to the
Galesburg Division. Could this view be at Clinton, Iowa? This is
another of the George Niles photos now up for sale on eBay. Thanks for
