I recommend the Earl Currie books "Running A RailRoad Right" and "It Gets In 
Your Blood" for anyone looking for insight into Q operations in the late 
60's/early 70's (especially the East End and Lincoln) as well as the chaotic 
early days of BN. They are also good on RR management in general. Although I 
didn't agree with all Mr Currie's opinions, his positions are thoughtful and 
well-stated. I had difficulty finding copies (I ordered through my local
