You can order Earl's books direct from him...If anyone would like his e mail I have it and will provide it on request. Pete -----Original Message----- From: dhartman <dhartman@mchsi.com> To: CBQ <CBQ@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Thu, Apr 24, 2014 6:32 pm Subject: [CBQ] E Currie books I recommend the Earl Currie books "Running A RailRoad Right" and "It Gets In Your Blood" for anyone looking for insight into Q operations in the late 60's/early 70's (especially the East End and Lincoln) as well as the chaotic early days of BN. They are also good on RR management in general. Although I didn't agree with all Mr Currie's opinions, his positions are thoughtful and well-stated. I had difficulty finding copies (I ordered through my local library on inter-library loan), so good luck. Doug |
