Bill Barbers photos reminded me of something. I have completed and submitted an article to Charlie Vlk,BRHS Bulletin editor, on motor car operations on the Rockfalls/Sterling branch and nearby locations in Illinois. As usual photos of the branch are scarce. My understanding is it's scheduled for a future bulletin. Pictures would guarantee it. Does anyone have and care to contribute photos of stations, scenes, etc on the branch for the article? Here's a partial list of locations that would be pertinent to the article: Sterling,Rockfalls(station and/ or roundhouse),Amboy,Paw Paw,West Brooklyn,Shaws,Radley,Earlville,Shabbona,Burgess Jct, Serena. Yes a couple are beyond the branch but that's how the job was operated. It's an interesting story and photos would sure make it even better.
