No, that's not the trucks, I was talking about. The ones on the HT-10's, 
looked, externally, just like conventional friction bearing Bettendorf trucks, 
complete with journal boxes and covers. That was the reason for painting the 
cars orange, so that the mechanical forces could quickly spot them. The truck 
pictured is a roller bearing truck and was designed to be a roller bearing 
truck. The bearing pack fits into a "pedestal" not a journal box. See page 143 
of BB #35.

Here's a slide of one of the transitional trucks John described courtesy of Sam 
W.   As outdated trucks (this taken in 1974) they could be used intraline in 
this case for Shop service to roll truckless cars that had come home for 
repair, etc.
