[CBQ] Re Cement Plant at Superior, NE

Bill - The cement loading facility at Superior is a terminal operation
where carloads of cement brought in on the BNSF are unloaded and stored,
to be trans loaded into semi  bulk  trucks for delivery to contractors
and redi-mix plants.  The cement manufacturing plant on the opposite
side of the railroad tracks was torn down beginning December 1998 and
completed March 1999. All the rolling stock was scrapped as was the
track, the three remaining diesel locomotives were sold. I grew up in
the village next to the plant, it was sad to see it go.  -Richard Kistler
