Pete: Do 222 and 223 look like Hastings, Neb., to you? 222 shows the freight yard with the old pre-1937 ramp-type coaling station and the steel water tank and engine facilities, all on the west side of town. 223 I'm guessing might be at the east end of town, and since you worked here in the early 1950s I thought it might look familiar to you. Image 224 is at Fairmont and 226 is at Ottumwa, so he was traveling east. Image 220 is an interlocking tower, and according to the order of the image numbers, it should be west of Hastings, though possibly just to the west. Any ideas? Because image 223 is dark and upside down on the website, I'm attaching a corrected view to make things easier to see.
