Ken,

They were from Overland and the tender was too long. They replaced the tender if you would send them the old shell minus trucks.

Many years ago someone imported some brass models of the Burlington O-5, but I remember my dealer at the time telling me that the tender was wrong. Apparently someone told the importer, and they then brought in a corrected version of the tender which could replace the original. Does anyone remember who the importer was (perhaps Custom Brass?) and what was wrong with the original tenders?
