Look on the bottom of page 52 in the book 'The Domeliners' by Patrick C. Dorin (chapter 4 on the California Zephyr).  It's only a partial view of the sleeper just ahead of the dome observation (at Bond, Colorado according to the caption), but it's obviously a NYC TTG smooth-sided sleeper.  I don't know if it is a 10-6.  The photo is credited to Frank McKinlay, Rail Photo Service.

Does anyone have a picture they'd care to share of a NYC Two-Tone Gray 10-6 sleeper on the CZ?  Other have indicated that the NYC leased a sleeper from WP or DRGW for their contribution to the CZ.  Just wondering.  I am a collector of such oddities and exceptions.
