Leo, wasn't there an older brother, Hugh Chick? Seems I remember a few extra list calls with the two of them, but I dont recall for what job. What were they on in the early 70's? Doug

Subject: [CBQ] BB 50
Those who attended the BRHS annual meet in Mendota got an insight into BB 50. Here's a bit more. Simply as FYI to let you know we are diligently working.............
Today I met w/ R W Chick, seniority date of 1942 and long time local chairman(griever) for the switchmen in the Aurora terminal. This was the second interview, the last,2 or 3 years ago,was via phone, today we met in person. I don't know who enjoyed the meeting more, but one thing is sure, the BRHS will benefit in BB50 with a real insiders view.
Bob is 91 and dealing with the usual physical difficulties of someone that age but his mind is sharp. As long as I had visuals and talked the language(those who sat thru my long presentation at Mendota know it comes automatically) he answered my questions w/o hesitation and even added more. It was a real pleasure for me to see the smiles that came to his face when I showed him certain things. I gave him a copy of a 1946 switchmans seniority list and he grinned ear to ear.
CVLK when you're ready I have the name of the missing individual and some neat attributes for each man in that drawing.
